WISHLIST: Beauty & Fashion #1

(From L-R) Topshop Green Knitted Cable Cardi - £48, Topshop Peony Floral Bandeau Bikini Set - £26, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta -£28, Tanya Burr Nail Polish in Little Duck - £5.99, Smashbox Full Exposure Palette - £36, Topshop Dark Floral Woven Joggers - £35, Cath Kidston Button Rose Quilted Double Zip Cosmetic Bag - £24

Sorry for the lack of posts over the last few days, a combination of having camera battery issues and three major assignment deadlines at University have (unfortunately) meant that the blog has taken a backseat. However, I have been putting together a little wishlist of bits and pieces I'm currently lusting over for a while now.

1. Topshop Green Knitted Cable Cardi

I tried this on in store a couple of weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with it. It is so super soft and cosy and I love the colour. I bought a similar version from Urban Outfitters in the colour burgundy a few years ago and it is still going strong! Although the price is a little steep for someone like me (aka student who never has any money) I'd like to think of it as an investment because of the amount of wear I would most certainly get out of it!

2. Topshop Peony Floral Bandeau Bikini Set

You may notice the only fashion items on my wishlist are from Topshop - I am just loving so much on their website at the moment, I could have included a lot more! I'm a sucker for anything floral related (as you may begin to tell) and particularly peonies. I think they are so pretty and feminine, so when I found this bikini I just knew I had to get it. I always prefer to get bandeau bikinis because I just cannot deal with the dreaded bikini lines! I'm going travelling to Vietnam & Thailand later this year so this would be perfect for then.

3. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta

I've heard a lot of chatter surrounding Hourglass products both from bloggers and vloggers and am keen to get my hands on some of their products. Although only available to preorder at Space NK at the moment, I think they are going to be a huge hit as the shades are just so gorgeous. I couldn't really pick which one was my favourite but I do really love the shade 'Radiant Magenta'. I have a feeling though that I wouldn't want to use it and prefer to just stare lovingly at it - I mean how pretty is it!?

4. Tanya Burr Nail Polish in Little Duck

The super lovely YouTube 'star' Tanya Burr has recently launched her collection of lipsticks and nail polishes on a couple of online beauty retailers (including FeelUnique). My favourite is by far the nail polish in the shade 'little duck'. Not only does it have a cute name but the colour will be perfect for spring, which I hope is just around the corner - fed up of all this doom & gloomy weather here in England!

5. Smashbox Full Exposure Palette

A number of new neutral eye palettes have been doing the rounds in the blogisphere but my favourite is by far the Full Exposure palette from Smashbox. I've never tried any Smashbox products but I've heard only amazing things about this palette, plus how gorgeous does it look ?! I must admit I have been pretty disappointed with the new Urban Decay Naked 3 palette so (obviously) need to cheer myself up with another neutral eyeshadow palette... right?!

6. Topshop Dark Floral Woven Joggers

What a surprise, another floral patterned item! I love love love the dark print of these trousers (they say joggers but I definitely think they look more like trousers?!). I think they'd look gorgeous for either during the day or evening.

7. Cath Kidston Button Rose Quilted Double Zip Cosmetic Bag

I'm after a new make up bag at the moment, mine is a little old and worn out. I love this print from Cath Kidston and the fact it has two zip compartments makes it handy for separating products or brushes etc. For £24 it is a little steep for what it is, but I definitely think Cath Kidston prices are justified in the gorgeous prints and the lovely quality.

So that's what I'm currently wishing after at the moment! Of course there are many more products but I'd be here all day writing about them. What do you think of the products I've mentioned and what is on your wishlist at the moment? I hope you enjoyed this post and once again, sorry for the lack of blogposts! I will be back to normal soon I'm sure :).
