REVIEW: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

So unless you've been living under a rock for the last couple of years, you will be more than aware of the crazy-hyped Bioderma Micelle Solution that every blogger and their mother seems to use and love. However, it is still only really available in the UK if you order it online and even then it is £14.50 for 500ml. Although this isn't the most expensive makeup remover in the world, I was hoping for a more accessible and cheaper alternative. This is when I came across the Garnier equivalent - Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I bought mine in Savers for only £2.99 but elsewhere it can be around £4.99.

I absolutely LOVE this product and can honestly say it has changed my life. Before I used this product I always suffered with breakouts, I could never figure out what it was that caused them and nothing seemed to help them. Since using this product religiously every night and morning my skin has been absolutely clear and I have actually felt confident going out in public with no makeup on (I know, shock horror!). I have no idea what it is about this product that agrees so well with my skin, except perhaps that it contains no perfume and is suitable for sensitive skin - therefore doesn't aggravate my face.

It really feels like water and takes makeup off extremely easily. My skin is left really soft and clean after this. Maybe the best thing about it is that it comes in a 400ml bottle, therefore lasts ages! ( I believe mine lasted for around five months) I'm already onto my second bottle of this because I love it so much!

If you have normal/oily/sensitive skin and are still struggling with blemishes, go try this right away! Have you tried this or can compare it to Bioderma? (I have never tried Bioderma so cannot comment on how they compare or differ!)

  1. I'd love to try Biodermia too to see how they compare.
